He's made some okay movies. Let's not go overboard.

I'm jusmped straight down here from the part in the article where they asked you to guess which show is from which creator, so here goes:

"And a direwo—-"

I keep repeating this over and over again, but I really would like people to stop telling me every week how as soon as we reach X-moment, Arya's story will make perfect sense. I don't give a shit if it makes perfect sense. I'm perfectly willing to believe all the plot will eventually come together in a totally

The way they did it, yes. Very boring.

Yeah, there just seems to be a pile up of stuff in her story that is either:

Then the inevitable threesome after the all the fighting is over.

Cool. I have nothing snarky to say about this.

Good for him. Everyone deserves a little rim love.

I think it's really collapsed under the weight of the 5-minutes here, 5-minutes there style of storytelling. It just cannot sustain over such a long haul, bleeding so much interest in so many different ways. It's reduced me to only really caring about a few stories, a couple of which they have completely screwed up

Be nice to dramatize that since Mel has been such a big factor in John's story this year, right up until she has just disappeared completely.

Yuuup.

Sure. That could all be. It's still been executed in the most boring fashion possible. Regardless of the ultimate point, to just keep showing a character in repetitive situations that never get more interesting is very bad storytelling. Whatever point you want to make, or theme you want to address, just do it

It sure could. I would not deny that at all. I certainly can see where my literal interpretation of everything we've seen for two years could be retroactively made to make more sense.

Yeah, but then later when they are just in the camp? Or anytime during the past two episodes? How about while working out their strategery when they were still in Castle Black?

Maybe. The last two years is still boring, tho.

ID4 is one of my favorite bad movies of all time, but the trailer for this new one just looks straight up bad. I wonder if that's a difference in the movies, a difference in me, or just a difference in the times in which they were both released?

Maybe Bruce killed his parents and Joe Chill is just his Tyler Durden.

Still, I suppose if The Waif really is Arya's Tyler Durden, then nothing they've done can't be explained as being in Arya's head (and would explain how Arya could walk gut stabbed, and why the people of Braavos looked at her as if she were just crazy and soaking wet, rather than also bleeding out).

Yuuuup.
