It’s wonderful that all the video game companies signed on for Ready Player One. It’s also a perfect book for Spielberg to adapt. Only one problem: Clearly Mr. Spielberg wasn’t as excited as the video game companies because he decided to remove all his own references from the book in order to make the movie. Pfft.…
