I think you’re confused. Those are clearly the Gelfling puppets from the Dark Crystal.

The town I grew up in - the local Dairy Queen was pretty much the same way. The franchise owner was notorious for only hiring “attractive” teenage girls.

I loved ID when I was a kid. I haven’t seen it in forever and man does it look like it was made in 1984 now.

Have ya’ll not heard about the lemonade at Panera?

I’m surprised Sonic is regarded so highly. I’ve never met anyone who seemed to like the food there. I remember it as being pretty mediocre myself (back when I lived in a town that had a Sonic). I did used to really like their slushies though. (Especially during happy hour when you could get one for $1.25).

Honestly that’s true of most actual restaurants as well.

Serious question - how do these people not drop dead after? A quick dip into Cronometer shows 76 hot dogs as being 3160% of your daily recommended sodium intake.  That seems like that would require a trip to the hospital immediately after at the very least.

What I hate about switching out party members like that is that the games almost never gave you a way to use the rest of your crew. Give me more dungeons where I have to have two parties working it from different angles, let me send some crew members I’m not using on overworld quests, give me little side stories where

Xbox (original) outsold GameCube, and Xbox One outsold WiiU (by a HUGE margin).”

That would be my take too - but that is probably only true in the West. If you add in Japan the Nintendo consoles might come out on top? From what I’ve heard in the past the Japanese are really not big on foreign consoles.

I used to work at a place where, when we’d get pizza we’d get it from Casey’s (that’s what the boss liked, oddly enough). And I mean, it’s surprisingly not terrible - for gas station pizza. Have definitely had worse pizza from businesses that specialize solely in making pizza (and don’t sell gas at all).

That’s the family business. It’s literally all he knows how to do - sponge off other people.

It doesn’t really matter since I don’t buy whiskey much anyway. But everytime I see an update on this story it just makes me associate Jack Daniels with being incredibly petty, and makes me dislike them as a company. I can’t believe they’d want to keep those new cycles going. It’s a fucking squeaky toy.

I’m glad he’s facing consequences for participation in the insurrection. But sad to see him fallen so low. He was a great part of a lot of great shows over the years.

That’s what I was wondering. I don’t really follow comic book movies at all - but I’ve also seen that story in my feed 2-3 times the last week or so. I was under the impression that it had already been spoiled. Didn’t realize it was just a rumor.

That’s a shame. Loved him playing “himself” in “Don’t Trust the B* in Apt 23.” He’s really fallen down the rabbit hole in the last decade apparently

If I had Aubrey Plaza money I would probably do the same thing (though not through iTunes, yuck).

Yeah - HBO Max has been my streaming platform of choice for the last few years as well. It definitely had a rough birth, but it really blossomed into something pretty great. Too bad a greedy corporate douch decided to smother it so they could try to make a few more million off of it.  I wasn’t really happy when they

Not that I’m aware - just delayed until post Superman movie that James Gunn is directing now. Likely 2025?

So bummed the second season of Peacemaker is going to be sooo far away now.

Hey this jerk is talking shit about Tom Hanks! Let’s get him!
