I dunno about ratings and sales - but on a ratio of good to bad I’d definitely rate Morrisey’s post 2000 output quite a bit higher than what the Simpsons have managed.

Right? I’ve never seen this show - but I’m irrationally angry right now that they would guess Dave Grohl. I’m not really a big Foo Fighters fan even - it just makes me mad that they would pretend they get real celebrities.

Man - so annoying to see that what I still think of as a “promising new show” - is a) already in season 3 b) cancelled - when I still haven’t gotten around to starting to watch it yet :( 

I can’t say that I have any interest in watching the Conners - but that Darlene (the “smart, talented” one) ends up working at the same shitty plastic factory her mom used to work at does strike me as a heartbreakingingly realistic depiction of life in a small shitty town.  So good show to them on that one. 

That’s funny - a friend at work where just talking about Richard Dean Anderson the other day and I was like “I’m surprised they haven’t rebooted that yet.” And she was like “they did, last year.”  

Really Billy Connolly was only on the last season? I was really little and barely remember HotC - but I remember him being on it a lot.

Henry Cavil is in the rare position of being both loved by the women of the world (because he’s handsome and ripped and British) and the nerds of the world (who normally loathe the handsome and ripped and British) because he’s a gamer and a PC gamer at that (and Warhammer nerd on top of that). 

My takeaway from these stories (the original and the follow up) is that both Emma Watson and Seth Rogen handled the situation professionally and amicably. It’s cool that Seth put out a follow-up to further clarify - but I never got the impression that Emma left in a huff after the first article. 

I dunno - Oz got really weird its last few seasons. Like really really really weird. 

It seems like as generations of pokemon-playing kids grow up and become scientist we’re going to have a LOT of stuff being named after Pokemon. 

I feel your pain - I’ve rode the mini-egg pony before too. Those fuckers are delicious. 

Am also shocked to learn Garbage Pail Kids are still a thing. Like have they been making them this whole time or did they just reboot them at some point?

As an aside - I used to looove the GPK movie when I was a little kid. I wonder how terrible it actually is?

That was waaaay back in the day - There was an HBO movie about it. Andy Richter was in it! 

It always baffles me how some people can put in such a crazy amount of time on a single game that they figure out stuff like this (and speed-running in general). There are soooo many amazing games out - I just can’t fathom spending 100+ hours in a single one.
