Except the men who created this show graduated college in 2011 and grew up in the 90s. In fact, they weren't even alive when this show is set.
There ain't much original in this show. It exists entirely as an homage tank to 80s cinema.
Just started watching. Really enjoying this so far. But I can smell the disappointing plot a mile away. The moment I saw the government workers in Walter White hazard suits. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Im going to groan if this is just another government alien conspiracy plot like Super 8.

Cell is not one of King's better books. It didn't deserve any other filmmakers than what it got.

Oh yeah. Given that he's 63 years old… He does a great job. Impossible to be the same level of energy as he was at age 35… but very impressive for a man in his 60s.

Eh, I'm not sure if that's something that can be replicated! And there doesn't seem to be any stop motion in this film.
