Spending hours on this raid and getting some lame-ass drill sounds almost as bad as spending $60 and getting Fallout 76.

This is the most terrifying thing I’ve read in quite some time, but it also means I’m probably going to be spending less time on Deadspin if it goes to a strictly stick-to-sports format which is good for me to actually get work done.
Yep... Same problem. Loved BL2... couldn’t finish the pre-sequel.
I’m also curious about this, but remember, the Pre-Sequel was farmed out to another team halfway across the world, and wasn’t actually made by Gearbox. And games that Gearbox has farmed out have tended to be pretty bad. I also quit pretty early into the presequel. It just felt like a stale rehash.
It is also impossible to write about Borderlands 3 and not also consider things like the sensational allegations made against Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford on the part of a former Gearbox lawyer, who claims that Pitchford has received a substantial advance against Borderlands 3 profits that would otherwise go towards…
Despite being a huge fan of one and two, I quit The Pre-Sequel after a few hours. The missions just felt like busywork: “Go get my shotgun from the guy who stole it, bandits killed him and stole it again, rakks killed them and carried it off to their nest, skags ate it and now it’s in four different pieces...which…
At least this is his sole problem.
Agreed. It’s like we a pissy when journalists don’t grill people and we are pissy when they do.
He also lost a brother to suicide, so him having an issue with this sort of dangerous bullshit is not all that surprising.
A president is a leader (or should be). A president who derides psychiatry as quackery, who advocates for spiritual guidance over clinical treatment might be likely to advocate for less funding in psychopharmalogical research and care - and more underwriting of faith-based approaches.
I think that it’s relevant for Marianne because she seems like the Louise Hay “if you’re sick, it’s your fault for being a negative person” type, and that’s something we should know about someone who wants to be president (or, in her case, grow her profile so she can make more money from her bullshit ideas).
Yeah, Splinter's headline on this is "Anderson Cooper Brutally Grills Marianne Williamson Over Mental Health Comments"
Yeah, I don't really understand what the problem is here with Cooper. I feel like this site has had a bug up their ass about him since he inherited all that money.
Why say that Cooper is unqualified to have this conversation? He did an excellent job of challenging her on her nonsense in the clip provided; he seems to have an informed grasp on the subject.
Which is why he should run against the republican incumbent for the senate seat in 2020. We need that seat flipped!
They can find his dad?
Perhaps journalists covering other sports simply find it
I love sport-specific sayings like “surplus to requirements” - something I bet has never been written about, say, Washed Carmelo Anthony (outside of UK coverage of the NBA, perhaps) despite being totally fitting.
The White House is already preparing shipments of supplies from the Strategic Thoughts and Prayers Reserve to help handle the inevitable emergency.
They are putting in “Would you like to view minorities” toggle, which, yeah, thats pretty offensive or at best INCREDIBLY tone deaf.
