It’s fun that companies can go all in on tech nobody wants, that nobody asked for, that doesn’t work how it’s supposed to, and then when it fails miserably, and then when it fails miserably, they cite “economic conditions”.
Victim blaming a 7 year old is “getting hit by a car driven by God” level offense.
I wasn’t aware that take-backsies were a valid strategy for dodging copyright infringement. Very interesting, indeed.
No court has even gotten to a point where that question would be adjudicated. That is an issue of material fact that a jury would have to decide if the case ever reaches that point.

Years ago when I was in workforce planning we tried this. Three 13.33 hour shifts in a row. The first people wanted it so they could work Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon. We started calling them “Weekend Warrior” shifts.

If you have been in a hospital, you have been treated by one. Most nurses work three 12s a week and much prefer it. More days off or they can pick up a 4th day occasionally, get OT, and still have 3 days off.
Very true and odd are if you go to a hospital you will be. The resident seeing you is probably on hour 23 of his 4th 24hr shift that week.
“Can be done” is not the same as “reasonable” or “humane”. Also, I’m not sure I want to be treated by a healthcare worker in the tail end of a 3rd 12-hour day.
