It depends. If it’s a 1 hour flight compared to a 6 hour drive, just drive. If it’s a 5 hour flight vs 40 hours on the road, most people are going to fly.

She didn’t forget.

Much too likely to get kicked off the plane, and then you lose all your points.

The difference was that there used to be more staff in the airport

I’m surprised they didn’t do remote school.  Aren’t a lot of school districts doing that instead of snow days now?

Second, “rural” doesn’t really count in a tiny state like that in the same way it does somewhere like Iowa.

You said they weren’t “considered” special back in the day. If you meant you didn’t consider them special, that’s fine, but others did.

Supras sure weren’t considered all that special back in the day

I think they would have to go through a separate emissions certification process to offer a different transmission.  That may be why they decided it wouldn’t be worth it.

You can also not like it while recognizing that it’s good that a major auto maker is producing a sports car and it’s selling well.  You don’t have to, but you can.

Unfortunately, they had rot issues like just about all vehicles from that era.

Yes, they prefer a car to be bad rather than uninteresting. Which smacks of people either not thinking about actually owning the car, or with enough money and space to have some bad interesting cars as well as good daily driver(s).

Honeycomb?

To absolutely destroy any asteroids that might threaten to turn the human race into our extinct dinosaur brethren.

Can you imagine if someone tried to drive a diesel-electric locomotive when it was raining?

That is probably the boat I mentioned.

Dang that’s expensive.  A ski boat has more like 300 horsepower; would that cost 100 grand?  You can get a whole electric car with more power than that for cheaper, why so much?  I have seen a video for another full electric boat (not a conversion) that is designed to do skiing and such for several hours on a charge,
