I can easily see it.  The procedure for impounding a vehicle is to call a flatbed tow truck and have them take it away.  So we follow the procedure because we know it works, we can’t get it trouble for it, and it’s the easiest thing to do.

To each his own, but if I’m buying a fun car and can’t afford to drive it as much as I want due to fear of depreciation, IMO that means I can’t afford that car and I will buy something cheaper that I can afford to drive. If that means a clapped out 25 year old Miata, so be it. I’d rather have something I can drive…

Ford’s web site is not particularly relevant to research a truck produced in 2004.  Either Ford has changed their engine offerings in the last 17 years, or someone swapped in a different engine to that truck.  I have no idea which is the case.
