That must be it.  Kind of a weird way of phrasing it, I would have just said the engines that they do come with rather than one of the ones they don’t.

Now as to whether the new car is dangerous or not that’s impossible to tell until they race it.

I didn’t take anything to an extreme. “Do you need that much power?” and “how much power is necessary?” are just rephrasing the same question. Do I need as much power as my motorcycle has?  Absolutely not, it has way more power than necessary.  I don’t see the issue.

You said “Do you really need that much power?” That is asking whether the motorcycle has more power than necessary. A vehicle that doesn’t have more power than necessary has only as much power as necessary. There was no caricature.

If you want a vehicle that only has as much power as necessary, look at a scooter.  Generally motorcycles are overpowered, because they’re built for fun.
