really bespoke suspension hardware from the Ford GT.

not riding like a complete moron.

Put folding railings on top.  I’m familiar with a houseboat that has that on the third level in order to fit into its slip.

Suzuki V-Strom 650: 50+ mpg. ;-)

It’s about the same even if you have to make two trips!

“inclement” meaning without clemency or mercy, hostile.

Unable to drive legally, you mean.  That doesn’t tend to stop people from driving in these fine United States.

Agreed - no thanks even if I could.

Oh ok.  Well if you can afford 11 million you can probably afford 25 million.

This is a solution for getting pulled over for using the lights that you weren’t using? Is that really that likely?

The cure for high prices is more supply.

Increasing production requires building new chip factories (fabs) since they’re all running full tilt.  I believe this takes years to do.

“On the other hand, there is little supply to meet it.”

And you think they’re trying to do that by offering miserable accommodations for eight figures?  Sounds like a pretty stupid business plan.

I don’t get your point.  Are you saying they don’t actually cost 11 million?

It’s not optimism, it’s math. Single to double digit nodes vs millions to billions is objectively not the same thing.

them HOA fees are gonna be rich af.

600 million divided by 39 (the number of apartments) is about 15 million. So I don’t know what makes you think 11 million would get you a closet.

Why would the novelty wear off faster than a home that doesn’t move?

It’s a difference of scale. Of course cars are computerized, but that doesn’t mean getting one to communicate with a dozen other cars is a similar problem to connecting millions (billions?) of devices around the world.
