Let em’ fight... seems like a win-win to me. Either we get rid of a loud egotistical maniac or we get rid of a loud egotistical maniac.

Not exactly the same year but the same generations at least:
I bought my current car just before the lockdowns started, so around February of 2020 or so? I bought it from Carvana and I remember the list of filters that I applied when I searched for it: Stick shift, 4 door, 30+mpg. That was it. I didn’t care about backup cameras, lane assist, airbags, headroom, towability,…
This article is about senators, not presidents. The electoral college ONLY impacts presidential elections and none of the senators mentioned here would be affected one way or another if the electoral college disappeared completely or continue for another hundred years.
That may be true, but probably not enough to make a big enough difference to me at least.
You’re right, but I also worry that once something becomes possible, it then eventually becomes mandatory.
The arguments for the G-class and the Wrangler JK were both the same. Great off-road vehicles that people don’t use as off-road vehicles. That’s not an argument for being an “over-rated” off-roader. It’s an argument that people are just using their vehicles wrong.
I have to agree. Replacing a very simple, cheap, and effective mirror with a video camera and a screen is a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.
Yours tells you what the engine temp is? That’s pretty cool! The only way I’d know is by feeling the heat with my leg, hand, or groin.
Counting Cars, Gas Monkey Garage, American Chopper, all bad. The artificial deadlines are the worst. No one who actually works on cars for a living has to deal with these crazy deadlines they force for the show. Every episode seems like it’s “we have 4 hours to completely rebuilt this Model T no tools, no parts and…
Mine doesn’t overheat. I ride an air cooled bike and I don’t think I’ve ever lane-split. If I run into traffic on the highway, I wait like everyone else. I also live and ride in Phoenix and the 110+ summers may not be all that comfortable for riders, but the bike handles it just fine. 110 is still significantly cooler…
Not holding my breath. This comes up in AZ almost every year and never goes anywhere.
I ditched Apple in 1984 and have never looked back.
What do you get if you cross a Jeep Wranger with a Toyota FJ? This ridiculous looking thing... Not impressed.
I don’t remember the last time I listened to music while I was in a car. The default for me is just “radio off”. I think the fact that a car even has an “infotainment” system would be a negative factor for me, much less intentionally adding a new one.
Mine are that low. I wouldn’t set foot in a new car dealership so I can’t speak to the cleanliness of those dealers, but the used car dealers I have been to commonly have bad parking lots with “barely there” asphalt, dirty showroom floors, and mud/dirt everywhere.
Well, anecdotally, they’ve certainly taken the crown from BMW in the category of a$$hat, entitled drivers...
It’s got to be a perceived safety feature. If you look at what happens when a freight train hits a car, who wins? One of the reasons why the train comes out so much on top is that you’ve just go so much more mass in the train than the car.
Well the Bronco is an ugly vehicle. I don’t understand they hype behind them nor do I understand why anyone is willing to pay so much for one.
