Dunno, think the devs(indie or otherwise) that take advantage of the term “early access” are just as guilty as anyone.

Hell EA will sell incomplete console games & the charge off the rest as DLC as is the trend these days.

Too many developers take advantage of the term “early access”. More than a few toss up in-game cash shops or sell early access only to abandon the game completely a year later.
