@StrangeTikiGod: You have sensitive papers in plain view on your desk?

I have a Tumi keychain (no longer made) that works much like the Flex-O-Loc, but it would be nice to have something that gets rid of the loop all together, like what's noted above. I think it would probably help me avoided being hit by swinging keys. It also would be nice if my cars didn't have separate keyless

Watch out for the tire monitoring devices (at least the linked brand). Here's a reviewer from Amazon:

@Webran61: My understanding is that the impact is minimal of the power cycle. However, hard drives that need to accelerate from 0 to 7,200+ RPM do wear through this process.

@dwroth: You're in luck, the adult version is available next month: [www.livescribe.com]

I don't get it. Why not just go from hybrid gas to plug-in hybrid gas, and then straight to plug-in only? That's going to be more efficient and as batteries improve, which will allow going beyond daily driving (like Hymotion's Prius) to full day driving (quick recharge while you sleep or eat) to multi-day non-stop

How about RAID 1? That's what I use on my personal machine. Certainly there are reasons that the volumes could get screwed up, but it's the classic and standard way to have protection from a number of failures. Oh, and it doesn't take productivity away from your computer while doing this cloning.

Teleport is fantastic. I've been using it for years and it is a great tool.

I'm a fan of WeatherPop Advance, which has a freeware version too. It displays the current conditions, and in a click shows you a forecast, details on the current conditions, conditions in other locations of your choice and weather radar as of the last update.

A friend of mine died a couple of years ago (unexpectedly in his mid 20s) and his true community was through the net. That said, we saw no ability to manage and continue his online presence. As such, even accounts at social networking sites remain unchanged. His online services expired and his sites went down too.

The only thing I miss about Windows vs. Mac is the ability to do this efficiently. I wouldn't go to such steps as disabling the mouse (unplug anyone?), but I know that some companies do it for efficiency training in Excel.

Maybe I missed something here. The Hymotion plug-in mod allows 125MPG on a Prius. What's different here other than the technology? Does this allow for smaller space required for batteries or cheaper mods?

Well, I guess this doesn't qualify lately, but in '95 (I think) I installed a printer into my trunk powered by a DC/AC adapter. I ran a serial cable to the driver's seat and from there I could receive and print FAXES or email through my Newton 120 w/ 2.0's PC-card modem connected to my analog Motorola Gold Series

Hook me up with a Hymotion modded Prius instead, with my short office commute I'd have to fill up like once a year.

I would be amazed to see this really happen.
