For a brief while in my college vending machines, they sold a drink that was a liquid version of popular candy bars. So, like liquid Milky Way and liquid Snickers. I guess it was milk, and some other stuff? 6 kinds of sugar? Pretty sure it had negative nutritional value.

Yep. I had long, bright blue hair in high school and my conservative Southern Baptist vice-Principal said he liked it, and that was it.

"...indulging in petty high school lunchroom gossip."

Oh, Atreyu. My inner child is swooning.

Well, hopefully young black women will look to couples like Prez Obama/Michelle and Jay-Z/Bey and Will/Jada for better celebrity couple role models. Hell, even Mariah and Nick seem to have a lot of fun together, even though they are a bit into themselves.

I agree that no one should hit anyone, and it's sad when male victims of domestic abuse get ignored. However, it's part of the larger precedent that links assault of females to the greater oppression of women.

Yikes, that's really scary. Those girls need some better role models.

I'm not a huge fan if Rihanna's either; and like I said if she wants to be with him then knock yourself out (ha.) What bothers me more is the collective shrug from the public at large.

I really wish Charlie Sheen would vaporize into thin air. It's hard to put into words the amount of loathing I have for that man, not only for being an equally detestable human being as Brown but also for giving us that horrible show TAAHM. SO MUCH RAGE against that show.

Am I the only one who finds the Chris Brown thing really sad, on a principle level? I couldn't care less what celebrities do, so if Ri wants to go back with him that's 100% her business, but why the hell is Brown still selling records and being featured on other artists' albums?! I'm not advocating he stop singing,

hahahaha

hahaha

I almost feel like I should give you credit for trying *so hard* to find some kind of fault in her response, even if it kind of makes you look a little bit stupid for the attempt.

May I suggest Emilie Autumn? You may find her lyrics empowering, at least.

Ah, but what a good dream it was.

I was wondering if I was the only one who has never wanted once to live in San Fran. I mean, I'm vegetarian, progressive, liberal, etc. but holy crap they just take it too far. Give me an asshole New Yorker any day. #eastcoast4lyfe

Yep, I realized (after I became a big girl and had to start grocery shopping for myself) that I was buying all the brands my Mom bought just because that's what I was used to, and then I realized after I started slowly branching out and trying new brands that I don't actually like most of the crap that I grew up with

"i just think your comments are more about blowing off steam than engaging someone that may actually be capable of shifting their opinion."

Yes, I'm sure it's those ignorant women always forgetting to clean their breasts after wallowing in shit all day. It's a wonder the child can even find the nipple, covered in all that filth. I mean, it's not like they don't have 21st-century plumbing and sanitation in those remote villages, right?!

#COTD for the win!
