I’m weirdly irritated by the tone of this article. Maybe it’s because I’ve spent the weekend binging 13 Reasons Why... Oh wait, now it’s not weird at all. This attempt at apologizing is tasteless bullshit.

If it has a problem, it’s certainly not Mon-El - like many people have already stated, Mon-El is clearly supposed to be Mary-Sue-ish at the moment. And if someone IS a Mary Sue, at this point it’s Jimmy (I’m just happy that I haven’t seen him for two episodes straight).
True that. Jimmy is simply insufferable this season (I liked him back in season 1, even though they obviously didn’t have any romantic chemistry with Kara)
Hi Lev! I read The Magicians last year and loved them (that turned out to be a very necessary read in an overall horrible year), but I couldn’t connect with TV series at all - felt that it swayed too far from the books plot- and character-wise, sorry:( My question is - did you have any ground rules regarding the…
I’d certainly go back if I were you - this season is a vast improvement over the previous two, I honesly didn’t expect them to pull it off.
This was so much better than the last year’s crossover episodes (Oliver’s baby mama drama, ughhhhh), but I had to fast-forward Iris - she’s beyond terrible. I don’t watch Flash on a regular basis, but anytime I tuned in for a crossover, she was complaining about people not telling her the truth in order to protect…
I liked Dom well enough, it’s just that none of the reviews this season were even remotely close to my experience with the show. Like, none of them. Why bother watching at all if the show irritates you that much?
Yeah, I don’t understand why people are so impatient with receiving all the answers. I can’t think of a good artwork which would leave absolutely no hanging threads and no room for thinking.
Counterpoint: no, it wasn’t.
Yeah, probably - I often see people complaining that it’s turning into Lost (which I can’t exactly confirm, having been too young when it first aired)
It’s probably because initially, the whole finale (two parts) was supposed to air last night. Also, Dom asked her boss to let her do the interview (which would most likely be with Darlene, since Cisco’s as good as dead)
At this point, I don’t exactly get the people who want answers to ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING and preferrably RIGHT NOW. Is it important whether Wellick is alive or dead? Yes. Can I live without this information given that there is an awful lot of other interesting information and plot development? Totally.
So much this.
But if anyone who does any research understands, and our customers are savvy enough to do research and understand the integrity of our products.
I guess I’ll just skip the future reviews. The effort put in justifying how something that was never bad in the first place is trying to “right the ship” is amusing, but no, thanks.
“‘Avengers 7' or something” sounds a little bitchy. Just a little.
Sorry, I loved the episode and I simply don’t care. Moreover, the prison twist was as clear as the last year’s Fight Club twist, so I don’t really see the reason to be so upset about it. And I can totally see the twists as mere storytelling devices, not as BIG REVEALS that should get you so emotionally invested.
Okay, so I honestly stopped liking the way JK treats/uses her fanbase. Maybe it’s just me, but I had to unfollow her because she’s been borderline insufferable recently.
A Russian here: guys, citing these exact opinions about virtually anything is pretty much like seriously citing Trump and pretending that all American officials are exactly like that. I kinda understand that you need to maintain the image of Russia that does outrageous things just for the evulz but still. (And yeah,…
and yeah, why are so many of us in the greys, especially those who point out inconsistencies in the review? we’re not even being offensive, we’re kinda trying to help.
