For a budget budget pen, I like the Pilot Penmanship, at $10 – $12. It has that tri-shaped section like the Lamy Safari does. The downsides are that it comes only in clear or black, and it comes with only an extra-fine nib, and if you know japanese nibs, you know how thin their XF lines can get. I love japanese XF…
