Sorry, I should have been clearer - I grew up in a region that had a lot of those restaurants & my family would go there quite a bit, I was only a child. But my parents were not the ones leaving the awful fliers. They left a reasonable (though not great) tip. My parents just really liked the food, I guess.

oh, I know the restaurant in that last entry all too well. And yeah, the majority of servers (& customers) are racist assholes. I always hated going there.

I do this a lot. But I've found all the routes I take to work offer catcalling, but I pick & choose which streets to walk at which time of day to avoid the really aggressive guys that don't like to be ignored.
