Five years ago I was laid off and had a few months severance. I remember waking up whenever I wanted and doing what ever I wanted. I don't remember losing weight during that time. I am pretty sure I did the opposite. Of course being stressed out from being unemployed probably didn't help.

Most old school word processors were just electric typewriters with shitty attached screens. Only the more pricey ones had expensive monitors. I had one just like this in college and it was called a word processor.
