This was my first thought as well. "So.... no beach vacations?"

Ugh. Because having a dead wife is better than having one with no boobs, amirite? Grrrrrrrr.

1. As other commenters have said spikes in blood sugar *can* cause bizarre behavior... but I'm not convinced it's a valid explanation of her behavior. Especially if she didn't end up going to the ER went she was taken off the plane - usually if her blood sugar was either high enough or low enough for her to be

From what I can find online, it looks like some airlines have "no photograph" policies, but it doesn't look like it is actually illegal, just against company policy.

I'm not saying that it doesn't have possible side effects. It does. I know that many women experience extreme discomfort after taking it. There is no drug that is 100% safe and effective and also 100% side-effect free. However side effects are not the same as the safety profile. There are NO known deaths, serious

Yes, fair point. I used to work as an ER nurse; I've seen tylenol ODs up close and personal. It's ugly. You can give activated charcoal and oral and IV N-acetylcysteine but it's efficacy decreases with higher dosages and later presentation to the ER from ingestion, and thus is usually more effective with accidental

I don't *actually* think that's affecting his decision-making, and agree that it's just political.

I completely agree, I just know dads can get weird about their daughters and sex. Not that that should have any bearing on this decision. (Mine still likes to believe I'm a virgin.)

Do know what can kill you if you take too much? Tylenol, which comes in #500 count bottles. Do you know what is basically IMPOSSIBLE to overdose on, and comes with a measly two pills/packet (and is now available in single-pill dosing)? Plan B. This entire thing is infuriating and ridiculous.

Eek! I'm glad that you're okay! And that you got rid of the toxic boy situation as well. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thanks! I am enjoying them both immensely.

Thanks!! Yeah, working weekends blows. I don't have to work weekends right now — I've been on a sweet M-F 9-5 type schedule since I became a nurse practitioner and switched to outpatient. But even though I don't miss working nights (and weekends and 12 hour shifts) at ALL, I do miss being off during the week and

Hi Jezzies! I am Super Cool and am spending my Saturday night on the couch, watching Smash, drinking wine, and updating my resume. My workplace is getting so toxic I just don't think I can deal with it anymore. But also: I feel really bad about even thinking about leaving my patients (I'm a psychiatric nurse

The prozac might not be making things worse, but it doesn't sound like it's making them better. I would definitely encourage you to talk to your psychiatrist. It might be time to consider a different medication or to add on an adjunct medication.

I had this issue with my last roommate. She was neat, but not clean. She basically refused to clean, and when she did, our standards were very different. I asked, I discussed setting up a schedule, I let the bathroom go so long that there was VISIBLE DIRT AND GRIME in the shower. It was disgusting. We finally

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing.

My mother sometimes let me have free reign of my fashion choices when I was very very young. I remember one time when the look I was going for was actually "goon", a la "Little Bunny Foo Foo." I had no idea what a "goon" was but I'm pretty certain I nailed the look.

My parents didn't have a boy's name picked out for me. My dad said "we just knew you were going to be a girl", end of story, so glad that worked out. They did also consider the name "Jennifer" but decided it was too popular at the time (it was the #2 most popular girl's name the year I was born).

Oooooh, I'm intrigued. Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out!

I was coming to post exactly this. I just hear "broccoli" and nothing about broccoli = sexy times to me. Good stuff. Not sexy.
