Except that people with "mental disorders" do frequently experience them episodically, and not all of the time. Times of lucidy and clarity aren't exactly rarities. Now I'm not saying that Bates Motel, or Psycho, are perfect case studies of mental illness, but lets not talk shit about people with mental illnesses for

The tiger on a chain made me wonder about leash training. Leash training a dog properly takes a few days/weeks, but a tiger? ;-)

I didn't buy their "romance" at the beginning, and even less so when they showed them on the couch together. Sonequa sold the hell out of it, and looked like a woman in love, but all I could do was look at them and think "no way would this beautiful, smart, deep woman fall for this man". There's just no connection

Is Gimple really in the firing line? Is there some info out there? Because I really think the show has plummeted downhill since he took over, and news of a new showrunner would give me some hope

Very few of Rick's worst decisions have been snap judgements though. Trusting the garbage people? He went away twice to fetch more guns for them, and never considered whether or not they'd actually be trustworthy. He came up with a plan that had them armed and inside the very walls of Alexandria, not even on neutral

I was thinking of that very same scene when Negan had his face so close to Ricks. Since Rick had had his crazy face on since Eugene tried to talk them out of it, and Negan had told him he was going to kill Korrrrl, there was no reason for Rick not to just go savage on him at that moment.

Incredibly heavy, huge amounts of fuel needed, slow, hard to manoeuvre, and loud enough to draw every zombie nearby. Sure, perfect…

It didn't work for me, at all. Not because I love to hate it, I don't hate it. I'm deeply disappointed in it, and have been throughout the season. There are ten episodes in season 2 alone that are better than this one, let alone seasons 3,4 and 5.

Oh and it gets worse, because we know that next season, no one will call him out on his terrible judgement in trusting people he'd known for 20 minutes, almost getting them all killed, and only being saved by incredibly fortunate timing when the Kingdom and Hilltop both happened to arrive at just the right moment -

Except that apart from people not smelling the same, even scent dogs or attack dogs have to be trained to do what you want. I am enjoying the mental images of Ezekiel repeatedly trying and failing to teach Shiva who she's allowed to maul to death though, so thank you for that!

This! Not a single death on the good guys side from all that gunfire? Please. The most glaring part that actually made me laugh and rewind to check in case I missed something was when Ezekiel, Carol etc went after Negan as he retreated. Garbage pail kids standing on top of the dumpster truck using automatic weapons

Well, the famously skittish and fast deer apparently just stood and waited while the loud, shuffling, not at all sneaky carnival zombies shambled up and ate him recently. I guess TWD writers (and funders) are going with animals being eaten.

Agreed - but I didn't start watching TWD until the beginning of season three real time, so binge watched seasons one and two and didn't go week by week, so I accept I probably like it more than some people did.

I'm definitely being nit-picky, it is just a TV show and the psychiatrist isn't a pivotal role in it, and there's no reason they should know about acknowledging patients in public unless they've been on either side of the mental health care profession.

I really thought the girl was going to say it that she did it so they wouldn't kill her grandmother, but nope, they went with the idea that she really, really wants to save Tara. Again.

No problem, I was just late catching this episode :-)

I really want them to incorporate that into TWD dead now. I guess they sort of covered that with Milton's experiments back in season three, seeing if they retained any memories of their lives, but they dismissed that quickly.

that's scarier than 7 seasons of TWD combined

Yes, it's inappropriate. He also shouldn't have invited an ex patient for coffee. Perhaps accept if Norman asked, but not inviting an ex patient who's looking distinctly uncomfortable to see you, then talking about how bad it makes you feel when a patient stops seeing you.

Yes! I thought she both looked and sounded like Norma. I never doubted it was deliberate.
