I realise that you made this comment a year ago, but I only just started binging this series, and have been quietly reading the reviews as well, but this comment made me quit lurking because I had to applaud it, old or not! Bravo :-)

Given the way TWD has shown not one, not two, but *three* horses dying horribly already, my heart sank when I saw the horse.
I complained about that too the other week. The episode where they attacked was a great one. But they hinted at a lot of background that we never got any detail about. Why that weird "no one should be here" philosophy? Why strap that Wolf-woman to a tree? Why did they collect a truck full of torsos? We didn't even…
Now I'm trying to remember who's still at Alexandria who can defend against the attack they've been preparing so desperately against. Abraham, Sasha, Eugene, Gabriel, Maggie (although she might be a tad distracted right now), Korl, Enid…Oh and Tobin. Maybe Aaron and his fella, not sure where they are right now. Some…
I've noticed Andy Lincoln can let one eye sort of droop when he wants to pull that expression. It happens when he zones out or was tipping into madness, and usually indicates he's going to get violent. I don't think Andy gets enough credit for his talent.
Her god isn't newly found though. She was praying in that church when Sophia went missing, and talking about god punishing her, not her child. Granted, she hasn't shown consistent signs of being religious, but she clearly was pre-Sophia zombification.
Look the way women were portrayed in season two was bad enough. If we had women talking to each other about their periods, I would lose any remaining faith in the show. It would be awful.
I think she's meant to be three months along, but yes, same difference.
Well, Maggie did the c-section. Carl just shot his mom in the head afterwards.
Daryl is hot, I'll admit. But I agree that Glenn is also very hot. Daryl is the famously female fan riling panty dropper though.
Dude, they're naked and eating it the moment they woke. You can happily watch it without caring about whatever references they're making, but this was in your face symbolism that's undeniably trying to make a point.
I love you. This cheered me right up after watching this episode.
Aww no! I like Tara! And Dr Denise. I hadn't thought of that. You're probably right though. I doubt she will be the one upcoming super impactful death everyone is speculating about though.
I can like, totally do valley girl!!!!
Hey, she's a stunning woman! Pregnancy does a number on the body, and some get luckier than others about where the pregnancy…shows *cough*. I feel really mean, but yes, you could see she was pregnant pretty much everywhere. It's different from just gaining weight. Still, I'm glad I'm skipping the whole spawning thing…
*Double checks* Nope. I'm still a British chick.
I think you're taking it too far by seeing it as two extreme ends of the spectrum. She's either weak, or merciless. Why can't she by complex and multifaceted? Turning her into a sociopath is doing her a disservice. Carol is more than that.
Agreed. And it kind of did begin to work. Interrogator girl told smoky woman to stop smoking, then shared with Maggie about losing her own baby, instead of pistol whipping her. It had an affect.
I've been enjoying playing "how will they frame the scene to hide her pregnancy this week?" each episode. Last week, it was with dinnerplates awkwardly stuck out to cover her belly. It's tricky though, because she's one of those women who look pregnant all over. It's impossible to hide.
"Carol and Maggie as supercommandos may please the grrl power segment of the audience, but it's a tough sell as plausible."
