I'm thinking after this episode that it'll be Maggie. Maybe Michonne. Please not Michonne!

I don't read a lot of stuff regarding fans beyond what gets commented on here, but I think they'd regret killing off Daryl, given how beloved he is.

Eh, Carol is there, and she took out Terminus and most of the Wolves single-handed. She's like the RPG of the group.

I'm not allowed to watch it apparently, since I'm in the UK, so all I know is from Soylent's recaps. I don't feel as though I'm missing out though.

Yep. I think she was also pissed about Darabont being forced out, and the guy who played Dale also leaving, but it's well documented that she received a lot of threats from angry fans and death threats, so she asked to written out.

I see now from other comments that the name on the wall was R Monroe, Reg, from building the walls. They've changed Jesus' name to something else to avoid confusion. Oh well!

Oh I agree. And since Maggie has somehow been relegated to "Glenn's love interest and motivation" rather than the strong, capable woman she always used to be, I still worry about how these writers handle writing for women. I'm guessing it'll be hit and miss, like with everything about this show! Love it, but it can be

Soaps don't have an end either. But, this is the closest thing to a soap opera that I watch, so.

Yeah, that punch to the face was pure foreplay.

Agreed, I don't think she's a strong actress at all, and what little I've seen her talking on the DVD extras, seems a bit full of herself? But I do feel sorry for her that she was getting death threats and things from people who were so angry she screwed up a beloved comic character that they forgot to divorce

What was Rick trying to do exactly with the truck though after Daryl had jumped out, and Rick decided to just start reversing and spinning around before backing towards a lake? I couldn't figure out what he was trying to achieve, and worried he was going to run over Daryl.

That's a really good point, and it's one of the things I like about Darryl the most. I think that started for me in Cherokee Rose, when he shows that thoughtfulness towards Carol. D'aaww.

Luckily, Tara isn't shallow.

I was surprised when I got here to read the comments that there are so many people apparently out there making an issue about race. It's taken the shine off the happy I felt after the episode.

But they have. That's how Darryl and Carol have been since Sophia.

WTF? Rude.

It's possible to have friendship that turns to love and romance. It's not that rare and mind boggling.

I don't think Michonne would hold back from bashing him over the head if he needed it. She's exactly the sort of partner he needs!

I don't know, I like Carol and Darryl as the platonic friends in the show.

I think the writers are signposting that they're planning to give her a change of attitude story arc. *Disclaimer* I haven't read any of the comics yet, and try to avoid comic spoilers, so this is just my own speculation/observations.
