I also still want to know why that house was so clean and stocked up.

I've never been so relieved to be wrong! Sorry Beth, but you're no Carol.

He used it incorrectly, in that he was describing a moat, but mote is also a word. It means a small speak of dust or dirt. Perhaps you should also attend that preschool?

Hmm, Disqus seems to be eating my replies, so sorry if this dupes.

Okay, I checked, and Beth sent Dawn and another officer to the office, saying that Joan and rapist officer were looking for her. Then, once they've recaptured Beth, Dawn takes her to the office for her bollocking, and we see rapist, Joan, and the other officer dead on the floor.

I'm pretty sure I saw other cops in there - the ones that Beth sent towards the office while she and Noah went to the elevator shaft. I would watch it again to make sure, but I don't want to put myself through that!

I really want to see another shot of Eugene "running". Make it happen TWD, I will be able to forgive a lot of other issues if Eugene has to run on the regular.

Which is a weird turn for Dawn's character, since Beth's escape attempt didn't just kill rapey cop, but several others who Beth sent to the office - later shown dead on the floor.Since Dawn is meant to be all about resources; losing several fit, active members of the group who were able to go out into the world and

I agree with you that her arc has come as far as it reasonably can, and not all the fan favourites can be untouchable - that would make the world seem entirely too safe.

Plus, in this episode both Rick and Michonne said how much they owe Carol. Set-up for a sobbing goodbye episode if ever I saw one.

I love Carol too, but I'm bracing myself for the next episode. I can see them thinking they've done a lot with Carol, and killing her off to clear way. They made a big deal about how she was tempted to leave the group, and having her character go through another seismic shift would become stale, and take the focus

Hey, you weren't to know. I'm rewatching series two now (hence why I'm here) and she really is mother useless in series two. I much prefer badass Carol.

If only you'd known then what you know now, huh? Carol turned out to be the opposite of mother useless.

He knew that Glen and Maggie were with Merle's old group. Merle told him. He didn't want any strong group nearby who might threaten his little kingdom or his role in that kingdom. He wanted their resources as well.

I've just been rewatching season two, and the transition Carol makes from timid abused housewife to stone cold badass has been very well handled. It's clear that her husband is controlling from her very first appearance on the highway flashback scene when she offers food to Lori and Carl, and he shuts the car door and
