if a strip of cooked bacon is 6" x 1" x 1/6", 1050 slices perfectly stacked would be 1050 cubic inches (a 10" cube).
The military doesn't have much need to capture large, uncooperative vehicles, and they have an effective tool for dealing with them.
Setting aside legality, I don't know any significant employer who demands abstinence from alcohol for performance reasons. As long as you don't blow a number when you clock in, what you drink on your own time is your own business.
Boy, England is classy. Even their bouncers wear ties.
It's a relatively simple task, but it usually requires moving either the transmission or the engine. Without hoists, transmission jacks, engine cranes, etc, that's a pig.
Basically, they were driven in anticipation. You place your order for power in the middle of the curve, and hope it comes in about the time you finish the curve and start the straight. Similarly, you lift off sooner before the curve, and hope the engine slows down before you get to the corner.

Space Cowboys II!
Watching astronauts die would be one thing, but I suspect a one-way trip would end up with a nervous breakdown and a spectacular suicide, all on hi def teevee. You'd have to be *really* motivated to follow through on this for, say, three years.
Jones broke the law, Woods had a long pattern of banging chicks, and the Saints had a long pattern of violations of NFL rules that may get them into civil and criminal courts. They all went down for the primary act, not the coverup.
