This is the most accurate description I’ve heard of Kojima and this site, something about him brings out the defensive weeaboo in people.

I never got that mentality... if you’re only interested in the exciting visuals, why see a movie at all? You could just wait until someone uploads all the fight scenes and watch them on Youtube. If I’m actually going to go watch a film I’d like for the story to at least not be so bad that it distracts me from enjoying…

I found it annoying how disjointed his monologue seemed and how he only spoke about black people - as if black people are the only ones suffering from discrimination in Hollywood. The last time an Asian Woman won an academy award for acting was in 1957.
