I read that Irish Times article and I’ve never had so many questions about a movie I will never watch.

Clearly, the fly was a Democrat plant. Possibly Antifa.
It should be said that The White House Gift Shop is unaffiliated with the US Government or the White House. This word salad however is stunningly worthy of Trump:
You’re welcome! It’s a good place to live, really. It used to have more personality, but I still wouldn’t choose to move. I like big cities and I like not being forced to drive everywhere.
I like it, though not as much as I used to. A lot of what made the city fun has been torn down for tacky condos, and rents and house prices have exploded. I can only imagine that covid will accelerate the pace of gentrification.
They were quite pro-mask but anti anti-mask scolding.
Unless there are battle pugs, I do not care for this movie.
Just dropping by to say that this was a wonderful surprise to read (thank you, A.A. Dowd!) and that “Red Right Ankle” is one of the loveliest songs I know (it helps that that part about the gypsy uncle is practically a Wes Anderson short).
Earl Grey is overdone, and there’s a lot overflavored swill out there. But it’s still a nice tea. Yeah, it’s definitely going to be more than that.
The English PhD in me just can’t help pointing out that it’s T.S. Eliot, not “Elliott.” I’ll see myself out.
This long-form Oscars coverage has been wonderful. Thank you!
I’m pretty sure Virgin Island is already in pre-production.
The biggest surprise here is that American Gods is still on, somehow.
So... he’s going to replace everybody with actual cats? Cool!
The Splendiferous Hot Air Balloon Escapades of Edicity H. Redones?
Damn, I forgot about “Fifty-One.”
