It's nothing like the old show, about which I have mixed feelings because it contains some of the worst TV I've ever seen but also the absolute best. This iteration seems a lot more content with itself and a lot more relaxed - it owns everything, its flaws, its considerable qualities, the actors' ages, and so on. And

She always looks like she's afraid she's going to break a nail, but also like a consummate professional.

I was surprised hom much I liked him on rewatching the old show. His relationship to his dad is beautiful.

Every time I see the sign to the Bang Bang Bar reflected in that puddle, my heart sinks a little because I know the episode is about to be over.

Albert has always been my favorite character in the show and I'm so grateful he's around so much. Miguel Ferrer may be gone, but it's great that he went on such a wonderfully high note.

I really, really like her. She brings something totally alien to the show, but she fits in perfectly. She's doing a great job!

Why are you watching, when Fear the Walking Dead is on at the same time?

We're exactly halfway through and after last week's lunacy, I guess it was time to remind everyone of the many, MANY bits of info this show has parsed out. So I really wasn't bothered by the more workmanlike nature of the episode, because there were so many little charming moments. In no particular order:

There's a way to express your dissatisfaction with a review without insulting the reviewer, but I guess you need to grow up more to learn it.
