I miss when we used to do that.

Twin Peaks update!
Now that he has Twin Peaks on his resume, he can retire happily.
Side note: his "son" is the Rainmaker from Looper.
It felt weirdly sad and touching, which I guess was part of the intent.
The speculation is that she'll be Diane, which makes perfect sense.
Yeah, one of the secret joys of this show is not being able to tell which famous face plays an important part and which is just a random cameo.
IMDB says he's only in 2 episodes, but I don't know how accurate the info is. The have Naomi Watts as only being in two episodes, and, unless the Dougie plot is over, that can't be right.
You know, you're right. I'm on episode 10 and I don't think he's been on the show more than 3 or 4 times. In my mind, he was always like the third or fourth main character.
That makes sense and at the same time is just so fucking depressing on every level.
I can see how it makes sense not to care much about the commenters, since the regulars are very small group of people, some of whom (like us) are basically squatting and treating the site like their own little personal social network.
There are lots of wonderful performances in Twin Peaks, but the show's secret MVP will always be Miguel Ferrer. I now remember why I watched almost all of Crossing Jordan way back when it was a thing.
I wonder if, assuming this is true, the site can even continue publishing the same type of content going forward. Kinja seems uniquely unsuitable for long-form coverage or regular features.
So just to make it clear: S2 is almost three times as long as S1 and it's universally agreed that it's kind of a mess, with Lynch and frost losing both control of and interest in the show. At the same time, it also turns out to be the place where virtually all the moments from the show that made a huge impression on…
What a coincidence, that's how I feel about you too.
So far I really like it, but there are aspects of it I don't much care for. Does that make sense?
I don't get it.
I still have 21 episodes to go, dude, so I haven't made my mind up yet.
The whole of S1 (8 episodes). I'm on episode 9 (start of S2).
Twin Peaks S2 may be where the show went off the rails, but golly gee, is it also where it's at its best, most poetic and tragic. There's a little scene where Major Briggs is telling Bobby about a vision he had of him, that's just so beautiful and heartbreaking.
