While that is true, it is based on the internal clock of the console to determine how many hours a player has been inactive as opposed to some of the more ambitious goals set for persistent worlds in the next-gen.

And with the rise of "living worlds" will come a need for persistent online connections, something Gerighty believes will become the technological hallmark of the upcoming generation of consoles.

I noticed that too. Just vanilla Skyrim textures placed in new patterns with the same scripting patterns, which does not make it on par with paid DLC that has new textures/enemies/items. But hey, more hours to sink in for free so I'm not complaining.

Not being shoehorned into the light path is what made me love this game (and the sequel) so much. I usually end up somewhere in the middle of light and dark but having story options that allowed me to go either way made me feel like I was in the universe.

Same here. I'll use my 360 again when GTA V rolls out but it hasn't seen much love lately.

I believe that was Razer who does not make Sony accessories.

It was enough that they missed out on a bonus (which was set at 85). I'd consider that below their expectations.

Seeing as to how it was proto-typed in early 2011, that means it would have followed the release of Fallout: New Vegas in Fall 2010. IIRC, that wasn't a great time for Obsidian what with the lukewarm reception to the game and the metacritic rating not meeting expectations - meaning it probably contributed to them not

Podcasts grant a kind of intimate knowledge of how someone thinks, I'd listen to the cast in the car for long trips or when I had a break at work - just me listening. I'm going to miss that.

There is a set number of bitcoins that can be mined, and the time and resources it takes to mine go up as that number is approached.

I like how that one car in the video is too good for the parking lot, hes gotta put it on the field to be seen.

Sorry to hear about your father, but I'm glad that he fostered a love of video games in you (among other things most likely). Even when he was unable to enjoy playing the games himself, he purchased them for you - that says something about his character.

The Brako boss fight had me laughing at the sheer absurdity of the situation. This game gets a lot of flak (most of it deserved) but damn did it allow me to have a fun time.

They fixed the AI. In the closed beta the easy AI would really come out and hit you in the mouth, but in the current open iteration it is actually easy if you select that difficulty and scales up from that.

Well, I'm a little disappointed it will be missing the June window but I was wondering how to split time between Company of Heroes 2 and this. Guess that isn't a problem anymore!

Thank you for compiling some positive or non-negative viewpoints on the Xbox One. It's hard to find such things when the more popular move would be to do the opposite.

Some predictable E3 stuff in there, but overall a good week for comics.

For once, I do agree with Molyneux. It was kind of amusing to see the jabs while never mentioning the other product, but the advertising surrounding both is kind of tired to me.

Seeing as to how the 360 reputation system was laughably ineffective I don't really have much hope for this. The fact that they are switching to this system means they are trying to fix the problem though.

Haven't you heard? Since everyone is jumping ship to PS4, MS has to put those 300k new servers to use. Buy an Xbox One and you get a personal server!
