There is a flaw in your argument regarding tasting many different types of meats. Given the size of this particular sandwich, each bite would probably contain no more than 1 or 2 different meats. So one would most definitely be able to taste all the various meats in this sandwich.

I had the same problems after I built my new computer a few months ago with a new Asus motherboard. I had a SATA III SSD and it added about an extra 45 seconds to my boot time. I used to have that same problem after I built a new system using a new Asus motherboard and Sata 3 drive. You need to go into your Bios and adjust some settings to speed up/get rid of most of those controller messages.

How is that different from people with black hair dyeing it blonde or red?
