There is actually a smaller wired Xbox controller out there that I let my 5 and 2 year olds (he just likes holding it while I play) use and it works great. I can’t remember the name but it’s been out for a while. The only issue is that the triggers are springy and feel cheaper but otherwise it’s a decent controller
