That’s a different point to the one originally made. Originally there was no comparison to other sports. Now, does comparison to other sports reduce the number of cyclists using PEDs? I would suggest not. To point out that others are worse and are less stringently tested does not absolve cycling.

No. I don’t believe it will. However, I certainly don’t aim to change your opinion on this matter. I do believe you should perhaps be more respectful of a person’s opinion when cycling, a sport which I love, is still a million miles from clean.

Could we just clarify how this suggestion is ignorant nonsense? It seems a valid assertion. The continued abuse of the TUE system is an excellent example of how the sport is far from clean and to suggest people get a two year ban for a first offence is to simplify a complex situation.
