I have no idea. I’ve been visiting various kinja sites for years, though mostly io9, and still default to grey, so clearly I’ve been fucking the wrong people.

Haha, I’m originally from BR, too, though I’m currently living in north Louisiana. I still visit BR from time to time, and have slowly watched the McKernan ads migrate north.  Imagine my horror when I finally saw one on a billboard in my town!

I’m kind of hoping the Bok Bok sketch spawns a follow up or two, with the fast food chain forced to create an ad attempting to explain that their newest mascot is not meant to resemble a popular internet scare.  Just play into the absurdity that the chain can’t envision a mascot that doesn’t terrify its customers.

I’m surprised you found the character easy to root for. He was pretty much everything you don’t want in a coworker: passive aggressive, overly familiar with people that wanted nothing to do with him, and effusively praising his fellow cast members only to immediately ask advice or favors. When he couldn’t sleaze his

If it’s anything like the rest of Louisiana, those ads will soon be overtaken by Gordon McKernan.

I think my favorite part of the “What’s That Name?” sketch was that Mulaney clearly followed tradition and switched some cue cards on Hader, presumably to make up for not being able to do it during a Stefon segment.  Hader was ready for it on the chaos line, but very nearly lost it when he read about his squad of

Pizzolatto was responding to comments on his instagram the past couple weeks regarding theories for the season. He denied some popular ones, like Roland being gay or somehow an accomplice to the sedan watching Wayne’s house in 2015.

The gun is Wayne’s police pistol. Along with the extensive note-taking in Amelia’s book, it’s a clear indicator that Hays is obsessing over his past, and the 2015 investigation isn’t some flight of fancy brought on by the interviews. Roland agreed to humor Wayne’s interest in the case after the conversation on his

Totally agree. The Purcell case is simply a catalyst, this show is more about how the recurring investigation and lack of resolution forces Wayne Hays to confront the ghosts of his past. The big picture for the Purcell case is mostly clear, anyway. The show doesn’t need to explain every lead West and Hays received.

I think the last time Keenan wasn’t the straight man was when he played Pierre Escargot on All That.  As someone who grew up watching him, it would be a bit of a shock to see him as anything other than the glue.

The trailer didn’t really fit the movie. I went in expecting more focus on the horror, probably through the characters eventually confronting the fact that their colleagues are being systematically murdered by random artworks. But the film seemed more concerned with explaining why no one was bothering to acknowledge

Compared to the last time SNL set a sketch in Louisiana (that weird talk show that relied more on tired stereotypes than jokes), I was actually pretty happy with the “Nawlins” sketch. Keenan’s exasperation as a New Orleans native was pretty much spot on. Gardner and McAvoy clearly garnering their entire impression of

C’mon, everyone knows that when The Rock wants to awkwardly mischaracterize an entire generation he does it as a musical with Lin-Manuel Miranda.

My favorite part of this episode was Olaf, and how all of the reveals around him informed his motivations throughout the series. His hatred of reading and the well-read is explained by his speech to Ishmael, and (even though I think this was technically the previous episode) his hatred of orphans is explained by the

Without knowing the contents of the threatening texts received or if they came from Rowland’s phone, it’s hard to say. They may have been able to put him in holding as a person of interest concerning the attempted extortion, but, unless one of the accounts could be linked to him, he probably would’ve been out pretty

I’ve only watched the Happy Xmas performance, but I was really impressed by Miley’s vocals. She’s incredibly talented, and I hope that some of the people who wrote her off as a flavor of the month/tabloid fodder get a chance to hear that.

Sure, but the halftime show isn’t for the football fans.  They’re already tuning in for the game.

The free base game is dangerously close to reeling me in completely. I wish matchmaking existed for stuff beyond the basic strikes, though.  I don’t really want to join a clan, but obviously some of the missions are meant for groups.

Doesn’t matter what Fox or any other media outlet says, it wasn’t done for them. Saints fans and Joe Horn were the target audience, and by all accounts they appreciated the tribute.

Teacher Fell Down was an ok premise, but if felt like the writers ran out of ideas for it and kept ad libbing until the sketch had filled its time slot.  Bringing in increasingly powerful authority figures with increasingly absurd reactions might have improved the sketch.
