Oh barffff!

I also thought she should talk to Margo. Even if Margo couldn’t help her financially (which I doubt because I agree she’d probably buy her out) Fiona would be better suited making peanuts as Margo’s intern. It would suck, but then she’d get some real life experience that would help her learn the ins and outs instead

Lol I love this comment but especially “the drug addict pie manager.” Phrased like that kills me for some reason. I love your rundown of why Ford sucks and agree it’s like a mystery how the apartment residents just sort of evaporated. Also, residents in that nice a suburb most definitely would have all woken up and

Very good point and references.

“Nothing about Ford as a character or Richard Flood as an actor justified his continued presence in this show, and this story would have been infinitely better if Fiona was going through this struggle without the baggage of yet another entry into the saga of men who’ve turned into assholes. The fact that the show made

LOL!

Ahh, very interesting, thank you!

Hmm interesting! What made that hunch happen?

Agreed about Fiona’s storyline being like a repeat of the cups meltdown. Also agree about the financial dude. I was shocked he didn’t see through her nonsense. I am such a Fiona supporter and I so badly want her to get out/have success after going through so much, but if this is the path they’re taking her on prior to

When she mentioned Matty I felt ill. Like...no. That whole storyline was horrible but to have her mention it so casual, like she had a normal relationship exboyfriend who had a big dick, was so weirdly vile to me.

They really were the MVP.

I totally agree about your polling place riot thoughts. It was ridiculous. I figured they’d have Mo win the way he did but it was still obnoxious to see.

Agreed about the Mo White storyline. It’s just not landing for me. It’s not funny and I’m guessing Shameless will just have him win because he’ll split the vote (and Frank didn’t necessarily seem to want him to win, just go collect campaign money). I love your “covered in shit” explanation of how the characters never

I also enjoyed the Debbie/Ian scene. The siblings are so rarely together on screen for more than a passing hello or just to recap something with their dialogue. Their scene tonight was nice because they were simply talking to each other.

I usually am fine with Shamless letting the stories jump around and sometimes not addressing prior storyline bits, but this episode had me scratching my head. No one knew about the vans being blown up in Ian’s honor? No one saw it on the news? Kassidi? Fiona somehow has the money to all all these moves? One big one

Totally agree. I’ll stick it out, but this episode was particularly dreadful.

Ah okay, I had no idea, good to know!

Totally agree. I hated the Kassidy storyline from the start, but you verbalized perfectly my thoughts about how “crazy” women are treated on this show and the general lack of dimension, while the men are all given pass after pass/the chance to grow.

I love your mention of the pasta. When the camera lingered on Debbie twirling the dry, sauce-less pasta I was like hmmm...

I love the way you recap! I made a Kinja account just to tell you that. I look forward to following the season with you!
