It's a lot better than it used to be. Harry Connick Jr.'s legit.

President Grover Cleveland and his wife Frances are worried about his sister, Rose, and her prospects. Rose has been lonely since her pen-pal took up with a minister. Can Rose win back the love of her pen-pal, Evangeline? Or will the excitement of a young anarcho-feminist pull her away from her One True Love?
I liked The Grey, though I thought it would have been better at 90 minutes as opposed to two hours. Too much padding.
Okay, Gene Shalit.
You're thinking of Selena Gomez. Hudgens and Gomez were both Disney stars, and they were in Spring Breakers together.
Reading your earlier posts, I don't know as much as you about the inner workings of the system (I don't know as much about anything as most other commenters here), but I think that media hype might be a consideration into what the frontrunners are; that is, Gravity and 12 Years A Slave were the frontrunners (and still…
That's how I've always felt as well. I and II are classics. III…isn't, but it's still solid.
Listen to Gabriel's cover of "My Body is a Cage." It's beautiful.
Liked for Johnny Got His Gun. One of the most powerful anti-war statements ever put in print.
Inherent Vice, to be sure. But Grand Budapest and Mockingjay follow close.
Before I got AdBlock, I would get ads for Christian singles, Russian singles, Jewish singles, Muslim singles, and Asian singles. This despite the fact that I'm married, am listed as such on social media, and have no browsing habits that would mark me as single.
Well yes, but then they would have to align with the anarchists, and people with mohawks and piercings are icky.
I watched a pair of environmental documentaries this weekend - Gasland and Gasland Part II. I felt like punching a wall afterwards, seeing the natural gas companies stonewall and lie through their teeth. It also supports my thesis that Dick Cheney was the true president. I haven't done any other research on hydraulic…
Hey now…Fringe was a great show! I think they managed to learn their lessons from Lost. Fringe's universe expanded each season, but it never got unwieldy. It managed to be an intelligent show that stuck to its thesis without a sense of [Jason Mantzoukas voice] OH MY GOD THIS INSANITY IS NEXT LEVEL.
If you change the "is" to "are" then Yes and Beck are collaborating on a record together.
Archmage, I had never thought about it that way before, but it makes perfect sense. And it turns the phrase into a positive, instead of a criticism. Thank you for making my day brighter.
I think part of it is the whole "Those that can't do, teach" philosophy. Which, as a teacher, really pisses me off.
My brother-in-law just moved to Sioux Falls, and got a concealed carry permit. Apparently all you need to get one in South Dakota is
1) A valid ID
2) a permit for your gun
3) $10.
I wouldn't characterize Lorde's voice as "affectless," though that's perfectly subjective. Also, she doesn't use baby voice like Lana Del Rey, which is what writes off LDR for me.
I think it was NPR that described Ke$ha as "Taylor Swift on cocaine." So in all fairness, Ke$ha wasn't in full control of her faculties at the time.
