My favorite part is the portal at the bottom where they list important conservative leaders and thinkers.

I think the scariest episode of The Twilight Zone I ever watched was "People Are Alike All Over," with the man in the Martian zoo. I don't remember how quality the episode was, but it scared the shit out of me.

I really, really wish that I didn't get this reference. :(

Almost every episode brings me to tears. I thought the proposal at the end was great, even if it seemed truncated.

1. Tonight (Apparently I'm alone on this one)
2. Self-Titled
3. Right Thoughts
4. You Could Have It

I'll go to bat for Kaiser Chiefs. I got hooked on their second album, and love the crap out of it. Their third album I like less, mostly because it fell victim to the Loudness War.

Citizen Kane is a film for me that is very technically impressive, and while I'm certainly wowed by it, I wouldn't call the experience "enjoyable," exactly. It almost feels alienating, which I suppose is the effect he wants, come to think of it.

I'll concede on the Kate Pierson vocals. They're lovely and ethereal.

I like REM, and I like Everybody Hurts. I can't stand Shiny Happy People.

HA! I was just thinking the same thing!

My mother-in-law lives in northwest Iowa. It's pretty backwards. An entirely different world from Des Moines (where my wife and I live).

In college, my friends and I did shots of scotchka in honor of this movie.

The only band I really enjoy with a Christian label is the David Crowder Band.

Try Red Sparowes. They're solid and skilled. They have an album from 2006 called Every Red Heart Shines Toward The Red Sun, a concept album about the Great Leap Forward. The title and concept sound super-pretentious, but the music is super-awesome.

I was really hoping to see Absolon, though I'm guessing nobody ever saw it. I'm glad Titan A.E. made it though!

Like that series of PSAs about "Passing It On."

I had a new fruit beer by Widmer Brothers - Marionberry Hibiscus Gose. It was good, but ultimately not memorable. I really enjoyed the hibiscus scent. I guess, overall, it tasted like an herbal tea.
