I just looked at the Wikipedia page of Jersey Shore, and I can't believe it only aired for 3 years (Dec. 2009-Dec. 2012). It felt like so much longer.

When I read this in Lance Reddick's voice, it sounds so amazing.

One of the first few episodes I watched had Fake Secretariat. I was hooked.

You're totally right!! Curse my inferior memory!

Remember when Spike TV almost exclusively aired ST: TNG reruns? Those were the good old days.

That's just part of the exhibit.

"Help I'm Alive" and "Gold Guns Girls" got a crap-ton of play on the Kansas City alternative station.

I can vouch for that!

YES

We Married Margot

Hunger Games: This Girl Is On Fire

The impression I got from that book was that Peter Biskind blames Spielberg and Lucas for today's glut of blockbusters and popcorn movies, as opposed to the artier directors for using way too much coke and having egos the size of Jupiter.

Are any of them worth watching, apart from the train-wreck factor?

When my ancestors came here from Sweden, the family last name was either Carlson or Carlstrom. Whichever way it was, my ancestors decided it was too common, so they changed it to something more odd (it starts with Bju now).
