I’m glad they are allowing controller support, Diablo 3 was way better on consoles because of it. Fight me!

If you don’t understand this reference, you’re too young.
“Don’t you guys own a Nintendo Switch?”
Fun fact: nobody has been fired, we’re all still here and still doin’ our thing.
You’re right. In their statement though, they mention that you can be removed if you do something to ruin their reputation. THIS removal, just ruined THEIR reputation though. So they effectively remove themselves from alot of people’s playlist for a long time.
They most certainly have that right.
“but dads have become a culturally acceptable target for gentle mockery and loving parody”
You say they have no merit yet we’ve seen these things before with both 3D movies and motion gaming. Movies already offer much smaller tech to wear than VR gaming and people still tire of that. Dinky is running around these comments defending VR quite a bit and in one comment even he admitted that VR is best in…
I’m not sure of actual percentage of people that get VR sickness from analog movement, but having demoed VR to thousands of non-gamers it’s much higher than you might think. It might not be a big deal to the small subset of people using VR currently, but if VR is going to reach “mainstream” status like the Wii it…
I’ve heard that VR is THE NEXT BIG THING enough times that I can’t believe its moment will ever come. I think for it to supplant how we already play games, it needs to do it better.... And there’s, what, maybe 3 or so genres that VR can actually do better than standard screens? It’s a fine gimmick, and great for…
It might not be a perfect comparison, but I think it works. For one, they share a similar drawback in the need to wear stuff on your face. And for movies that stuff is already light, but many people still don’t like it for that alone. VR will be no different.
I think they have some similar issues like the need to put gear on your face. It adds to the immersion, but can also be annoying and isolating. I think a lot of people don’t like these things or simply won’t want to bother with it any time they just want to sit down and enjoy a game.
Is that your role as a journalist though?
My problem is that it had really good roots but simply didn’t do enough in the long run to make it affable. State of Decay, despite its bugs and such was a good start and I really expected a lot of SoD2. It did....some things correctly but really it was just more of the same.
I’m surprised nobody’s has checked in with Waluigi yet to see what he thinks of this.
So how long until the cowards at Nintendo put Piranha Plant into Mario Party?
Here’s something that really needs fixing:
So when I was working for Blizzard in CS in 2012, they laid off about 600 people across the department worldwide. Those people who got laid off were given severance packages, based on their tenure with the company, which ranged from a few weeks to a few months of pay. Although this was not optional for those…
Severance? Are you fucking kidding me?
I’ll take it over being one of those weirdos that uses possessives for plurals. ;)
