Here is my quick take on this. I’m going to try to be as positive as possible regarding all parties.

forgot to say, as Gold member I don’t have to pay extra for economy plus.

15 years ago and earlier... happened to me pretty often, now... last 5 years none. Usually got bumped to business class, only been bumped to first handful of times.
