I think the real difference with this small “truck” is with the hybrid option, it actually gets much better fuel economy. The current Ranger and even the old ranger don’t have significantly better fuel economy then today’s 1/2 ton trucks. So you were only getting a ranger back then because it was slightly cheaper and

So I don’t know much about these regulations or registering commercial trucks, but can companies easily just register the truck out of state and get around this? I imagine the local delivery trucks no, but alot of stuff travels out of CA and into other states

Will you get to compare side by side offroad and see if the improved breakover angle makes a big difference offroading? or at least avoids scraping bottom as much.

This is why I’m going to purchase an EV from an established automaker. The small start ups typically cave to shareholders/investors and perform tactics like this to ensure products still make it their way to customers. Usually crazy CEO demanding employees to do crazy things with threats that it’s required to keep

Spots are first offered for free to Russian owned yachts

I just don’t get the insane price increase of these recently. This one i get is a unicorn, 6spd, TRD SC, and insanely low miles. But I would just save some money and lift a 4 runner, tacoma, or try to get a LC if you are only willing to buy a toyota. I just don’t think these look that good, also If you really want to

The production Bronco Raptor has 14 inches of rear suspension travel. That caused quite the issue for production, as it made the truck just about 78 inches tall.

I’ll be honest, i was in high school when this was new, I had no idea these were $57k new, that was a lot of money in 2004 for a new GM vehicle. I still remember countless newspaper ads for local dealerships selling dodge 2500's crew cab diesels for low $30ks because they were putting $10k on the hood to move them. Ah

If someone is fine dropping $58k for this I’d almost argue they probably have enough spare cash to be able to afford a Hummer EV (i know it’s 2x as much) and they should have just got that for their hummer fix.

That was exactly my first thought, call it the explorer and everyone will be familiar with name. This won’t eat into bronco sales (bronco sacrifices daily driving quality for extreme offroad capability), this is just a better off roading explorer in my opinion. The wheels in the video are much too large for off roadin

^^This, I also got a half ton truck because mid size trucks hardly get any better fuel mileage. I would say starting around 2015 full size trucks started to get close to 20mpg average which is where mid size trucks have stayed at. Back in the 90's and early 2000's your 1/2 ton was more likely to get 10-15 mpg average

average class C RV’s only have 25 gallon tanks? That can’t be right, you’d be looking for gas about every 200 miles which would be annoying. I do like that 1/2 ton pickups give you an upgraded tank size option and I wish more cars had it (i think the 911 might be the only car to have two fuel tank size options)

The other thing that makes no sense there is only so large of a pool to make money from selling cars. In the US we have been selling about the same amount of cars every year for the past 15 years, roughly 16-17 million cars. So how can all of a sudden we just evaluate new companies like Lucid and Rivian with virtually

This is why i still chuckle when people have forum arguments between upcoming EV trucks coming out. They really think the tesla truck when it does come out will still be $39k. If it’s still going to be like the giant truck that was showcased with bullet resistant glass, stainless steel body*, unique tech, etc there is

i agree with you, don’t get. It’s not special enough to give it the Integra name. I’m not sure the market, as i think it would just take away civic SI sales. I’m not sure what person would buy this that wasn’t already interested in a civic SI.  Clearly Honda bean counters didn’t give them the budget for something new,

If you are willing to get a pretty base model Lightning then yes, but an XLT with a big battery is going to be like $62k. You’ll easily get to Rivian price for any add ons or higher trim levels. And you won’t have the same HP/Torque or offroad capability. And i’m a Ford fan actually

If you two in town with work trailer or have a boat that you take <100 miles to dock then i think it’ll be great. But if you regular tow a camper or something else I would stick to gas for the quick fill ups.

I wish people/writers would stop including Bollinger B2 in the EV truck comparison. That’s a niche truck for a very select people. Think like people that buy unimogs and H1 hummers. They are literally making this have a crazy payload to get around not having to put airbags and avoid crash testing. You’re average

This will really make pre 2026 vehicles worth a lot. And not to drive drunk but just not to deal with whatever system they put in place.

counterpoint: I’d imagine poorer drinkers actually consume more at home due to cost unless it’s young people leaving parties. I don’t have data, but I would image a fair percentage of DUIs are from people who can afford to spend a lot of money drinking at nice restaurants and bars.
