People didn't go see Avatar BECAUSE it was in 3D. They saw avatar because of the marketing push and the groundbreaking CGI. I've seen Avatar in both 3D and 2D, it was fine either way imho (as far as looks).

My parents decided to get rid of the chair for my computer in favor of a stool on wheels. REAL easy to slouch.
