I don't think you need to qualify it with 'almost'.

io9 used to be great. I'd say the only thing keeping it afloat right now is Charlie Jane. Most of the best writers have already left and the stupid Gizmodo merger has made things worse, especially by bringing absolutely terrible commenters from that site.

Oh, good. I like Kotaku.

Technically, she was killed by a pterosaur and then a mosasaur, neither of which are dinosaurs. *pushes up glasses*

This is very true, but I didn't actually become aware of this until I read her autobiography and I was very turned off by all her conservative prejudices in strong display. I'm not sure what it says about me that I neither picked up on nor turned off by such elements in her actual stories when I first read them…

Jarvis is wonderful. That leap out of the driveway and Peggy's reaction to it was delightful. I will miss James D'Arcy and Hayley Atwell.

Way late to the party, but god, that was such a beautiful capper to the show. It made me laugh out loud several times, almost brought me to tears a couple times and made me feel really happy as it ended. What more can anyone ask from a hour of television?

It wasn't a great episode, but I don't think it was that bad. And I know I'm easy, but it was a pleasure to see King Shark on the TV.

I have to say, this was probably my favourite Grimm episode in a long while. It had history, it had Monroe and it had poor Uncle Felix. That Grimm genealogy tome is also pretty cool.

Time Trapper?

Don't be sure of that…Shippers be crazy

I felt real distress when Ana was shot. Verbeek does great work humanizing her character in the little time she gets.

I am very happy to see a Limitless review on the AV Club and I definitely hope we can get weekly reviews. This is an incredibly fun show and I hope at least some people will be turned on to by AV Club coverage and maybe boost its ratings.

Holy shit! I just realized Minister Tagomi is Shang Tsung! Good god.

I have no idea if this is something meant to be the case by the writers, but something that Rip Hunter says here may actually illuminate a plot point in The Flash.

I both loved and did not love this episode. So many issues with the time travel logic…

This was the first episode that didn't really work for me, other than in bits and pieces (Kelly and Pablo with the militia, Lem and Lucy Lawless rising from the ashes). It seemed too haphazard and I am just not feeling Fisher's character.

I was more irritated by the 'reveal' that the Reveillon riots and apparently the goddamn Boxer Rebellion were just wesen being wesen and had, apparently, nothing to do with political and socioeconomic realities of the times. Just like the Hitler thing, it feels very reductive of history to me.

Pacific Rim was a questionable venture?

I admit I got misty-eyed at the end there. I'm easy. But the critiques of the how those moments work within the larger context of the episode are definitely on-point.
