Man, I did not catch that Hope turning back means bad news for Blaine and Major. Damn.

People are judging this show way too harshly. I see a lot of complaints about the writing, which confuses me. It's not Breaking Bad or anything, but it's perfectly serviceable. It's ok, it's fine, it's the TV-version of a B movie.

I kind of liked it. Of course, we don't know if that's how it'll actually happen in the movie. Doesn't Diana meet Clark and Bruce in that party at the beginning?

Things I liked - Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne giving each other shit; the action (hopefully well-lit); Wonder Woman apparently appearing out of nowhere; Doomsday having a heat blast power.

This was exactly my reaction.

I admit I am disappointed, just like Alasdair, with the decision to turn Savage from an ancient caveman to a vengeful Egyptian priest. 20,000 years of immortality is a hell of a lot more impressive than 4,000 years.

I can see one way to reconcile that.

Oliver, I totally agree with you about Rosalind's death and yes, it would have been nice to see more Inhumans in the Secret Warriors team. But other than that, this episode was great!

Yes. My thoughts exactly.

Funny you should say that. Desmond Harrington and Jennifer Carpenter are playing a couple again on Limitless.

Loved Steve and Bucky beating the shit out of Iron Man.

Best thing - Luke Cage on fire, walking out of his bar as if nothing had happened

The new Fantasy AGE system, maybe?

That's definitely going to be my head-canon.

I'm not sure how I feel about this 'Hydra worships an ancient Inhuman' deal. I much prefer them being a ruthless, Darwinistic, terrorist organization and not some mad cult. That said, Hydra being ancient is something I can totally get on board with.

Huh. Talk about divergent opinions. I loved the pilot and am really looking forward to the show. One of my top choices this year, in fact.

Motoko.

Okay, I'm not disputing the same-y blandness of Marvel movies, but how are the DC movies any different? For one thing, we only have Man of Steel as a data point. For another, what we have seen of Suicide Squad and BvS, it's the same dark, dank, saturated depression as we saw in MoS. It's still all the same, just on

This was a disappointing episode. So light and shallow. And visually, it just feels insane that an entire planet is blockaded by just a scant few Star Destroyers and all the Rebel ship directly fly towards them, instead of, I dunno, going around them!

So that's what happened to the people in the Leftovers.
