Super awesome!
I write daily as well, and if I discovered that something I’d written casually because I see the world through a veil of my own limited experiences had a material, deeply harmful effect on my audience I’d look around and see what it is that I’m missing and should have been paying closer attention to.
I think its rather the opposite: write well-rounded, complex human beings and people who identify with those characters will flock to your show. Treat characters that people from demographic groups perpetually under siege look to as small beacons of hope as cannon fodder (yet again), and those same people will turn…
I was actually moderately pleased by last week’s SLEEPY HOLLOW (amazing, I know!), so as long as the b-team stays in the background doing b-team things, while Abbie & Ichabod remain front and center of their story — because this is THEIR story — as both the brains and muscle of their operation, they could possibly…
I probably would still have laughed even if she’d died. I kind of giggled up my sleeve a little when that woman who stored her gun in a zipper pocket of her purse was killed by her two year old who was playing with it the the grocery cart while they were out shopping.
I’m still not 100% convinced she’s not *actually* from the future and is just back for a little visit.
For real. The test takes literally 30 seconds on one of the new portable machines.
The blood tests were reporting incorrect results. The results of the blood test directly inform now the clinic prescribes medication. If the information they are being given is bad, the medication dosing they will prescribe to the patient will likewise be bad.
That sounds like a good gargle for a sore throat, but that’s about the extent of it (capsaicin is good for that sort of thing.)
More Chris Hemsworth being a sex-idiot, please.
YES.
FYI for your dad, you can get home test machines that are basically a larger clunkier version of a home glucose monitor. The test reads in about 30 seconds, and you just call the results into your clinic. His insurance probably covers it, I’d have him ask his Coumadin clinic about it.
Coumadin dosing is adjusted daily, weekly, or monthly depending on the patient’s acuity. Here’s how it works:
That actor looks hella familiar. Who is he, anyone know?
Poor lady, what a rotten card to have been dealt, and her poor husband to lose her at such a young age. What a lovely thing for Dolly to do — she is truly one of the kindest and most generous-of-spirit walking on this earth.
With the last five minutes being her and Snoop making pot brownies together.
Especially when the deliberately stop taking their arthritis medication a few days prior, to guarantee that their joints will be swollen.
Right? They have Albany just North and NYC just South and they’re going to put a field office *there*? Come on.
I will shout for joy if Abbie resigns from the FBI and goes back to being the Deputy Sheriff of her little town (and eventually Sheriff). I really like her as the guardian of Sleepy Hollow, the local girl keeping an eye on all of her people and keeping them safe.
