Dana Andrews.

No "the," just "Dubliners"

At least read "The Dead," the last vignette in the book. The rest of them leave me a little cold, but "The Dead" knocks it out of the park.

That's an enchilada, not a burrito.

Yes it is. You are free to say whatever you please. You are not free from the consequences of it, which may include getting fired if you choose to exercise your freedom of speech on your company's corporate letterhead.

That's exactly what "freedom of speech" means — it is a definition of the limits of the Federal government. It is not a definition for how the rest of us need to treat you if you decide to be an asshole.

But there is an expectation of courteous behavior as part of the social contract that we all live under.

That was Semisonic, which also gave us the far-superior and criminally-underappreciated "Chemistry"

I was like that with Duran Duran. I hear a lot of flak given to the fanfic scene and I think well, all my early-teenage imaginary-boyfriend scenarios were basically fanfic, I just didn't write it down.

Sexual orientation is not a protected class.

What is wrong with those women?

Yes they can. Boston public schools have uniforms.

Well in fairness, sometimes they do. The son of a close family friend is a bona fide psychopath with extreme sexual aggression. He's been "off" since the day he came out of the womb, although the extreme level of deviance and violence he was capable of did not begin to manifest until he was a "tween" — and its only

Because he probably has some major neurological or psychiatric problems that are going untreated.

It sounds to me like that kid has some pretty severe neurological issues going on. 6-year-olds do not habitually threaten to kill their classmates and express a desire to watch them bleed out. If I were the judge, I'd insist on a full medical and psych workup if it hasn't been done already, and make sure the kid

Someone get these lads a contract! Mama would pay money to see that live.
