One of the best Civ 5 mods was one that added a trade route per Caravansary, which rendered Venice as useless as it should have been.

I generally just use Really Advanced Setup and leave Venice out of the mix.

Would like to see them have an Information Era type of fictional unit ... a genetically-engineered monster called the “Spider Paratrooper” that can literally teleport anywhere from friendly territory (like the XComs) and then bite the enemies resulting in a 1-hit kill on anything.

I wouldn’t mind having Australia in there because it doesn’t really matter if a country is a world power (USA) or a forgotten empire (Scythia). It just needs to have existed. That’s all I care about, since I just built the Pyramids with Teddy Roosevelt’s America, after all.
