A good idea, half-assed to the max, so I’ll pass.

Don’t do that, Greg. I’ve had hostile responses as well. I spent a good 8 hours playing ping-pong once over a story about a mentally-ill gamer who had stalked and committed aggressive acts related to gaming ... specifically on the idea of whether the person was just plain evil or not in control of his behavior.

Indeed. And that’s a necessary design choice no matter what the split audience is ... there has to be motivation to do the designed actions in the game. That’s what separates solid games from weak ones.

Exactly. It wasn’t a focus, an either-or design choice. It was a choice to make games noted by you to appeal to as large an audience as possible.

You’re spot on. And I’m tired of hearing the conversation as an either/or situation. Nobody is working to eliminate one or the other sex from the marketplace, or if they are, they really shouldn’t. Making a game that is appealing to both sexes doubles the audience of potential consumers. That does not mean it’s a

Minus the part about Splatoon you got in ker-billion-licate response, I agree completely. Particularly since the company isn’t aiming for graphics and hardcore markets, so their games could be a lot smaller for hardware demand anyway.

Not that there’s anything wrong with a Metroid or Mario sequel X-billion, but there’s

Between 3 & 4, I’d assume they’d go play in traffic and get hit by a car.

Meh.

Metro Detroit is a small market? I don’t think so.

That’s actually how Tim Duncan looked 99% of the time, even in years he was going to win or just won a championship.

I remember enjoying this game very much on the SNES. It wasn’t like a lot of regular baseball games, particularly the stands being in-play (with a clear roofed-off enclosure that let the balls bounce back onto the field).

EA Originals sounds like what film companies do with their smaller budget divisions ... each has their own ‘indie’ division that works with smaller budgets and newcomers. Makes sense.

Now I see why Valve has no interest in producing Half Life 3.

You may not like it, there are tons of things to shoot, but the shooting is so basic (crosshair and just get it close and they’re toast), so it’s not at all like a CoD or major shooter out there.

IKR? The customization was amazing! It was like they saw GTASA and thought, how about we just flood them with clothing options ... such a good decision!

So you don’t get the dessert at a restaurant this week, I always say. Not a bad price. Don’t know what you like game-wise, but if you like sandbox, and don’t care all that much about graphics, and really love crazy-go-nuts cheesy stuff, this game is for you.

And if that wasn’t annoying enough, they upped the spawn rate of those damn things in GTA 5.

Hell to the yes!! :D

I had a lot of fun with SR3 as well.

GOG’s version works just fine.
