Needs more Johnny Gat. I’ll pass.

It’s just going to increase even faster in the coming years. You might as well buckle in and if your money is not quite so disposable, just wait for the initial sticker shock introductions to pass before production levels and economies of scale bring down the new tech price.

If we took that ethos, we’d still be trying to max out n64/PS1-era specs.

Incredible!

They need to release on PC. Straight up, I’d buy the RB4 too.

The one game series I’d enjoy more than most of the Konami collection ... Contra. Would love to see a 100-200 mil budget on a FPS or behind-the-back 3rd person shooter with modern gaming engine running a reboot, similar to what Doom just got.

That would def be a fair arrangement, if all Konami wants to do is low cost low risk stuff with their IP.

This seems like a general problem for Japanese companies. Many of them seem averse to dropping Michael Bay budgets on a game ... might have to do with the economy being in a perpetual lag for a good 20-25 years compared to the 60s-80s boom.

So when does the crowd start finding out how much to buy the IP from Konami for the games they desire, and kickstarter-ing a fund to pony up the cash to buy it from them?

I kind of figured Cleveland’s comparative lack of depth on the bench plus a new coach plus it being a Cleveland team would lead to something like this against GS.

How quickly we forget the past.

Whoops, been drinkin.’

Tigers over the Cards in the ‘06 Series.

Meh, all owners are default scumbag levels of pathos-inducing opinions and thoughts. To find one that isn’t throw-up-in-my-mouth-a-little is rare.

It’s just going to keep getting exponential, though. And need vs. want is under consideration with the statement made.

Unfortunately it’s still out of the capability of platform manufacturers, but an ideal step going forward would be to sell monitors and gamepads that connect to the manufacturer’s server and have a virtual OS running all the stuff manufacturer-side through the internet.

Moore’s Law seems to be pretty consistent. Even PCs that upgrade right now will be rather underpowered within 2-3 years of time passed.

In a perfect world, this is how I think things should work, on this subject ...

I don’t really have a problem with games that explore the taboo either, even though I wouldn’t buy a Criminal Girls game ... just not my type of enjoyment.

Yep. Every market and nation differs in this regard.
