Preston Gravy, haha ... “there’s a turkey that needs my help, here, I’ll mark the dinner location on your map!”

That’s what I thought too ... he hates murder, and shooting Atom Cats counts as that.

Didn’t see the rest of the playthrough ... but aside from the Preston never leaving you part ... was it possible that you waited long enough in-between murders of Atom Cats to where Preston went hostile as a result?

None, really, if it’s not Survival mode. If you aren’t into Sims-like building, it’s a non-starter.

All Mole Rat Disease (picked up in Vault 81 by getting bit by the rats OR having a companion get bit) does is drop HP permanently -10 or something. It doesn’t work like a HP drain, nor does it impact anything else you do ... dunno if it works differently in Survival mode, but in regular mode, it’s just a constant

Thanks for this! I think I’m gonna bookmark the info when I get another free day to mess around with the settings. Much appreciated! :D

Considering id’s legendary precedent with the original DOOM, I’m more than willing to give id/Bethesda a chance.

Dan, I didn’t want the convo to end up with an abrasive “NO U” type of ping-pong. So here’s an attempt at not being that.

I felt this one really hard in the feels, Sqarr:

Hololens priority is probably where I’d guess the monitor and setup limits are unspoken-reasoned.

Yeah, that’s probably where PC integration stops currently. Because I’ve seen prior games do that on rare titles, but it’s way easier modding cheats into the multiplayer PC side, that’s for sure.

I can def see why you’re put-out with the MS ‘upgrade,’ lol ...

Wow, nice! You had major issues with the upgrade process to Win 10? Or did I read that incorrectly.

Win 10 here, primarily gaming via Steam and GOG and Green Man.

I’d actually support MS taking a Valve approach and attempting their own Steam Machines.

How old is your PC?

On video card driver updates, I tend to do a clean install, which is readily available as an option via the card’s GUI.

Come on now, people are entitled to their personal preferences. I didn’t exactly think elitist-minded hipster when I read Sqarr’s paragraphs.

I know, it’s not noble, definitely a lowest-of-low state of being. But I’ve embraced my save-scumming and letting myself occasionally get surprised by an update & reboot. Like the lowest-of-low that I know myself to be, and love!

I imagine most of the updates are security-related, so I let them happen as they’re scheduled.
